The last two terms have been one of the best experiences of my life. This is mainly because I’ve had a supportive teacher who has helped throughout those two terms and during that time I’ve been becoming a positive Hay Park school Learner. The opportunities I was given were amazing such as the triple R team and various other opportunities.
Over the last two terms I was able to take responsibility for my learning, take responsible risks, and persist through the the last two terms. Two key competencies I managed to pull off was persisting because what I did was take the feedback given and used to make my work better and 100% effort, because I learnt to give anything a 100% percent effort because hard work will pay off.
Both these key competencies helped me get through the best two terms but the one that stuck with me from the very beginning of the year was take responsibility because sometimes we need to make risks and look at the greater good and because of this key competency I was able to become the person I am today.

Yesterday we had a visit from a famous photographer named Kennedy and he taught us about how mangroves help the environment and weird and wonderful facts on mangroves.
